Doctoral Programs

Doctoral students at FSU make significant contributions to the educational, technical, scientific and economic advancement of the university, the State of Florida and the nation. Approximately 300 doctoral students graduate each year from the university’s 67 Ph.D. programs (see the complete list), which are spread across 12 colleges:

Additional interdisciplinary doctoral programs are under development, as increases in the breadth of disciplines and Ph.D. graduates are central to the Pathways initiative. These objectives are being accomplished through faculty growth, stimulation of research and scholarly activity, and investment of resources in graduate training efforts.
