Life Sciences Building

FSU's new Life Sciences Teaching and Research Building is a state-of-the-art facility that will provide over 90,000 net square feet of space for instruction, research, and support services. The design features rooftop research greenhouses and an open ground floor cloister for students, faculty, and staff. Other features include a 150 seat auditorium, biology teaching laboratories, and more than 30 research laboratories for the Department of Biological Science.

Construction of the Life Sciences Teaching and Research Building, which cost more than $55 million, was completed in June 2008.
